不是只有两只手吗?两者之间用one...the other...为什么不能选择B?
是不是说要有one才可用the other?如果题目没有强调一个另一个的时候，都用other表示另一个?
【解析 】
首先your是一个物主代词，在语法上它的地位跟the一样高，所以只能使用其中一个，所以B出现the就不选它咯~
one...the other...这个格式没有错，但是并不是一定要出现one，后面才能用the other的，the other出现时，我们要记住，总数就是两个，或者说把一堆东西分成两部分，手只有两只吧~
这题的your other hand其实就是the other hand，只是正如上文所说，your跟the不能同时出现的。

3.others是other的复数形式，泛指“另外几个”，“其余的”。在句中可作主语、宾语。如：

4.the others意思是“其他东西，其余的人”。特指某一范围内的“其他的(人或物)”。是the other的复数形式。如：
Two boys will go to the zoo, and the others will stay at home.
两个男孩将去动物园，其余的留在家里。
the others=the other +复数名词，这在第2条中已经有所介绍。
5.another=an+ other，既可作形容词，也可作代词，只能用于三个或更多的人或物，泛指同类事物中的三者或三者以上的“另一个”，只能代替或修饰单数可数名词。如：

other的用法 other的用法是什么
1、other 形容词，后接复数名词，泛指其余的人或物。 2、others 代词，相当于other+复数名词。 3、the other 后接单数或复数名词，表示在一定范围内的其余所有的人或物。 4、another 后接单数名词，泛指三者或三者以上的人或物，译为“又一个，再一个”；后接数词+ 复数名词，泛指另外几个人或物。
other的用法
other的意思是：其他的,形容词,做定语修饰名词,放在名词前,定语就是用来限定限制那个名词
the other,可以作主语：其他的,另一个,也可以做定语放在名词前,意思一样,但是这几个词中凡是前面加定冠词the的都是有范围的,比如那群人中等等.主要词组:one...the other 就是：一个……另一个……的意思,举个例子：
One of them is blue,the other ones are purple. 它们的其中一个是蓝色的,其他的是紫色的.
这里the other作的是定语修饰后面的ones,如果把ones去掉也成立,the other作这个分句的主语,表示前句them中除了前面的one以外其他的那些
用the others就是省略了后面的名词复数,the other则后面还需要加名词,用法方面除了这一点和the other是一样的例如： One of the children likes reading,the others like singing. 后句可替换为the other students like singing.

some之类的词也可以特指也就是有范围,如果不做固定搭配用,又有范围,一般就用some……,the other(s)…… 比如 Some of them is red,the others are black.不翻译了
其实other跟others之间,the other和the others之间区别是一样的,加S的都是省略了后面的名词复数,完全可以通过加不加名词复数替换,除非the other是之一指的是一个单数.
但是要注意的是如果the前面有形容词性物主代词(my,your,his,her,its,ours,theirs就是"某某的"的意思,形容词,同上作定语修饰名词)就要略去the因为形容词性物主代词已经限定了一个范围了不用再特指,这一点在所有句中都一样,比如：One of my friends likes singing and my other friends all like dancing.我的朋友其中一个喜欢唱歌,我其他的朋友都喜欢跳舞.
不过other和others与加the的两个区别是用在没有特指范围也就是泛指的 句子 里,就是因为没有范围不是特指所以other一定后加名词复数,关于具体什么是泛指前面解释过,the other是特指就单复数都有可能了,但the others省略的肯定是名词复数.other和others形容词性作定语时含义都是一样的,就是加s的省略了个名词复数.另外others可以作名词表示他人.例如：
We should respect others.我们应该尊重他人.
another也作形容词,用法同上,意思是另一个,再一个,又一个,后面加名词单数,还可以作代词,实际意义上代词也算是名词,代词就是用来指代的词,比如你我他它她.
例如：He drank another glass of beer. 他又喝了一杯啤酒.
That’s another matter. 那是另外一回事.
当代词例如：I don’t like this one, please show me another. 我不喜欢这个,请给我另一个.
补充几个跟other有关的词组
any other性质同上也是形容词作定语,但后只能加名词单数,意思是“任何其他的”
He is taller than any other boy of the class.他比班上任何一个男生都高.
这个情况下也就是比较级+than+any other+可数名词单数可以表示最高级的意思,这个词组是用于主语和与之比较的名词是在同一范围内所以才能说是任何其他的,比如说：
Chongqing is bigger than any other city in China.重庆比中国任何其他的城市都大.
如果是不同范围就直接用any表示任何的,后面可单可复,比如：
Chongqing is bigger than any city/cities in Japan.重庆比日本的任何城市都大.
some other加复数,表示“一些其他的……”,例如：

一、含义不同

二、侧重点不同
1、other其他的，不是指剩下部分的全部， 相当于other+复数名词。
2、the other特制在一定范围内的其余所有的人或物。
3、others 所指的其他人并非其他所有的人，指其他部分的全部，相当于other+复数名词。
4、another 指三者或三者以上的人或物。
三、用法不同
nother表示“别的，其它的”,它不能单独使用，后面必须要接可数名词的复数形式。
the other多指“两者中的另一个”，也可以指三者及以上中剩下的最后一个。可以独立使用，也可以在后面接上名词。
others表复数，泛指“别人；别的东西”，它就相当于other+名词复数，因此它的后面不能再接名词。如果句中前面出现了some，后面通常就会用others，即构成“Some…others…”的结构， 这时也可以翻译成“有的……有的……”。
another表三者及以上中的“再一，另一”个，后接单数名词。这个单词本来就是“an other”两个单词的连写，所以它的前面不可能再用上冠词an.
